I am bus driver for a Christian school in Georgia and we stayed at Mt Carmel Inn about 4 times. Great place, wish I still drove for this school, it has been about 5 years since my last trip to Missouri but it was always a wonderful stay.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. We are enjoying our stay. Wishing the weather would cooperate but at least we are safe and dry. I can see us doing this again.
I recently arrived home from another wonderful weekend at Mt. Carmel Inn. We have stayed here on approximately 70 different occasions and I am never disappointed. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. If anything should occur at any time, day or night, they will do everything possible to rectify the situation. Boat slips are available and the rooms are dog friendly. You can't ask for a better place to stay while visiting Stockton Lake.
This place is the perfect quaint little spot, off the beaten path. Close to the marina for boat rentals and a pool for the kids when you want to relax in the evenings, and a nice spot to eat for the whole family.
Clean, affordable rooms with everything you need. No carpet holding dirty secrets. Nice doggos welcome with small fee. We'll be back!
Great place for family, lots of room. Newly renovated & clean! Brought own linen & supplies due to COVID guidelines. Enjoyed kitchen. No eating out these days. Relaxing & enjoyable! Thank you!
It has been a few years since we last stayed at the inn. We were very pleased to see all the updates the new management has made. On our last stay things were getting worn and the cleanliness was not what it had been. NOW redemption! The condo was clean and well stocked with cooking basics. Loved having a dishwasher! The tiled floors and countertops were a great improvement. It was nice to be able to bring our dog along, and the additional fee is very reasonable. My one complaint and/or suggestion to management: the mattresses on the beds are too stiff and firm-not the most comfortable. Thus the 4 instead of 5 stats. That needs to be your next update. Our stay was great otherwise.
My family goes here every year! The pool keeps the kids entertained, and the hotel is really close to the Marina for boat rides on the lake. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and you can bring your pets!
